There’s A Nationwide Pet Alert Network To Help Find Lost Pets: A pet parent’s worst nightmare is their dog or cat running off. Now there’s a free nationwide pet alert network you can add your fur babies to. This is the next level of protection above getting your pet microchipped. FidoTabbyAlert includes your pet being assigned a unique ID number, and receiving a free ID tag with their name, ID number, FidoAlert.com on one side of the tag, and a QR code on the other. The only hurdle is if your pet slips their collar, like many cats do. You can also report your pet missing on the FidoAlert website. To prevent your pets from becoming lost, escape-proofing your home should be a priority.
