An event to inform, inspire and invite the community to STAND for children in foster care. Hear stories and learn the many ways we, as a community, can support children in crisis. “The Foster Care system is in crisis; however, it is a crisis that has a solution. Within churches and communities, there are more than enough resources for every child to be surrounded by a loving family, a healthy church and a caring community. Stand Sunday is an invitation to the church and the community to stand up and put an end to the foster care crisis in the Coastal Bend.” Joel Perritte, Care Portal Pastoral Ambassador- South Texas.
