There’s a lot of great news for Little Big Town fans. The band not only announced a new album, but they’ve released a new single, and revealed a new set of 2020 tour dates.
First off, LBT’s ninth studio album will be titled “Nightfall,” and will drop January 17th. The first single from the record is “Over Drinking,” featuring Karen Fairchild on lead, and the band is set to perform the track Thursday during the 8 am hour on NBC’s "Today."
As for the “Nightfall Tour,” with special guest Caitlyn Smith, it will kick off on January 16th, one day before the album’s release, with a very special concert at New York’s Carnegie Hall. LBT is actually the first mainstream country act to perform at Carnegie Hall since Alan Jackson in 2013.
The tour will then move to New York’s historic Apollo Theater for two nights, with the band set to play over 30 prestigious theaters around the country, with the trek wrapping with two nights, May 1stand 2nd, at Denver’s Paramount Theater.
