Chris Stapleton and Luke Grimes are now label mates, as Grimes is the newest artist on Mercury Nashville.
Grimes, who portrays Kayce Dutton on Yellowstone, signed a recording contract with the label prior to releasing his debut solo song on Friday (December 16).
"No Horse to Ride" will be released on Range Music/Mercury Nashville this Friday. Grimes posted a snippet of the song to his Instagram page.
The son of a pastor, Grimes grew up listening to Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, and Johnny Cash. He started in a Los Angeles band before breaking into acting and launching his solo music career.
