Bamas Blog: My obsession latley

I am gonna focus on muscle cars for a while. My next one to talk about is the 1950 Olds Rocket 88. Named after the 303 cubic inch Rocket engine. Sales that year for Olds in general were 408, 000 units. Some of this success owed to the press for promoting 10 out of 19 NASCAR races that year. This was an overhead valve engine and it would be 5 years before Chevy would introduce their V8. Many of these engines were swapped into every type of car for a hopped up performance. 135 instant horsepower would wake up any hotrod.
