Refugio County Judge Jhiela Poynter has issued a MANDATORY EVACUATION for Refugio county. Refugio is a coastal county and is not a shelter county. There will be no shelters open for anyone to ride out the storm. With it being a holiday weekend and traffic already increasing, this will give residents a head start before traffic increases more.
