Taylor Swifts “Eras Tour” documentary, “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour,” is looking like it might put up some massive numbers in its debut weekend. The movie is projected to open with anywhere between $100 to $125 million dollars!
Some analysts think that the movie will open lower at $85 million, but many feel that “this movie is a unicorn” and will perform closer to the $100 million range. Just last week presales for the movie had already hit $65 million.
With the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes leading to studios pushing out movies into 2024, theaters are reportedly pretty happy that Swift’s film is coming out, acting as a different type of blockbuster. “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” hits theaters on October 13th.
