2023 NCAA March Madness Tournament Bracket Revealed

COLLEGE BASKETBALL: MAR 12 SEC Tournament - Alabama vs Texas A&M

The Alabama Crimson Tide were selected as the top overall seed in the NCAA March Madness Tournament and the South Region during the CBS' live Selection Show on Sunday (March 12).

The top-ranked Crimson Tide were hours removed from defeating the Texas A&M Aggies, 82-63, in the SEC Tournament Final in Nashville on Sunday.

The Houston Cougars were selected as the No. 1 seed in the Midwest Region. The Cougars lost, 75-65, to the Memphis Tigers in the American Athletic Conference Tournament Final on Sunday.

The Kansas Jayhawks were selected as the No. 1 seed in the West Region. The Jayhawks were defeated by the Texas Longhorns, 75-56, in the Big 12 Tournament Final on Saturday (March 11).

The Purdue Boilermakers were selected as the No. 1 seed in the East Region. The Boilermakers defeated the Penn State Nittany Lions, 67-65, in the Big Ten Tournament Final on Sunday.

The four play-in game matchups include Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi-Southeast Missouri State for the South Region No. 16 seed; Texas Southern-Fairleigh Dickinson for the East Region No. 16 seed; Mississippi State-Pittsburgh for Midwest Region No. 11 seed; and Arizona State-Nevada for the West Region No. 11 seed.

The first-round of the NCAA Tournament will begin on Thursday (March 16) with games airing live on CBS, truTV, TBS and TNT.
