C'mon Get Happy: Bikers Line Up at Lemonade Stand for a Surprising Reason

An unexpected line of bikers from the group Milwaukee Iron lined up at a little girl's lemonade stand--but not just because of delicious, refreshing lemonade!

In September of 2018, Daryn Sturch and her daughter Bryann came upon a gruesome wreck involving multiple motorcyclists. Daryn says she stopped and tried to help the injured and triage them as best she could until EMTs arrived. Daryn's quick actions saved some of the lives of the bikers. In the past year, the Milwaukee Iron has kept Daryn up to date on the recovery of the bikers.

One year later, as you can see in the video, Daryn's daughter, Bryann, put up a lemonade stand to raise money for equipment for Bryann's horse. Daryn announced the lemonade stand on Facebook, and one of the bikers saw it and asked Daryn if there would be somewhere to park some motorcycles. Daryn told them yes--but had no idea how MANY motorcycles would need parking!

As they were standing out front, selling lemonade, they heard quite a sound as more than 30 bikers rumbled up on their motorcycles to get some lemonade. Daryn was very touched as almost all the bikers she'd helped in the accident a year prior were at the lemonade stand--including a biker named Lumpy.

Bryann and Daryn were so happy to be able to reconnect with the bikers who had been injured, now that they are recovered.
