An Oregon man won $1,750 in a lottery game and was so excited to drive to the lottery office to claim his prize that he got there before they opened. And it's a good thing he did.
Sam Hawley showed up an hour before the office opened, so to kill some time, he went over to a nearby convenience store and purchased another lottery ticket.
Hawley, who says he always plays the same numbers, picked the same eight and ended up winning again. Only this time, he matched all eight and won the grand prize worth $118,000.
