C'mon Get Happy: Red Sox Star Feeds Homeless During World Series...

Boston Red Sox slugger Mookie Betts had a great year. He had one of the greatest seasons of anyone in the league and ended up helping his team win the World Series.

But his on-field accomplishments didn’t distract him from doing some great stuff off the field too. Mookie and his friends and family ordered food from a local restaurant. The restaurant was super excited to feed the great Mookie--and they sent SO MUCH EXTRA FOOD!! Instead of just tossing the food, Mookie took the trays of food to homeless people outside the Boston Public Library.

No cameras were rolling as Mookie attempted to make an anonymous donation. But someone nearby recognized him, and sent the news -- and a note of thanks -- out on social media.
