C'mon Get Happy: Some Generous Surprises from Pro Athletes!

A 12-year-old boy in Kansas is the happy new owner of a pair of Air Jordans, and all he had to do was be respectful of his mother.  ZaMarion was shopping with his mother, Larissa Coffie, at a shoe store in the mall and was checking out the $200 pair of shoes. He never asked his mother to buy them and when she asked him to put them down, he did. He never carried on or whined about having them.

Moments later, they were approached by a kind stranger named Marcus who said that that he wanted to buy the shoes for ZaMarion because he was so impressed by how respectful he was to his mother.

Larissa said, "There was this guy standing behind us and he said, 'Oh that was very nice. He went and put that down. Very respectful."

Not only did the man buy him the Air Jordans, he also bought him a second pair of shoes. Larissa was so touched by the stranger's gesture that she posted her story on Facebook, and that's when she learned more about the generous stranger.

It turns out that Marcus happens to be Kansas City Chiefs Pro Bowl cornerback Marcus Peters! When Larissa found out she said, "Our family is truly grateful to that man for not trying to boast about who he was. He just did something out of the kindness of his heart and then disappeared. It was like he was an angel that popped in and popped out."
