C'mon Get Happy: Halloween Kindness for a kid

A Home Depot manager in Wake Forest did a kindness to a family with a child in a wheelchair. The mom and kids went to Home Depot to get the supplies they needed to create a costume for the boy, Jackson's wheelchair. The mom thought it was kind that the manager, Miss Valerie,  unboxed a refrigerator to get the cardboard they needed for his costume idea. Then the manager walked around the store with them to get all the supplies they needed. When they got to the checkout, Miss Valerie paid for EVERYTHING!!

The young man, Jackson, has a unique neurological disorder that's caused a processing delay and other complications, but it does not stop his big personality. It caught Miss Valerie's attention right away, and it was her respect and patience for the 7-year-old that his mother was grateful for most of all. Thanks to Jackson’s imagination – and Miss Valerie’s generosity – Jackson will be trick or treating in a custom-made, yellow race car this Halloween.
