C'mon Get Happy: RR Lady Saves Brides' Days!!

About a week ago, the bridal store, Alfred Angelo, shut down nationwide. It was without warning...and lots of brides are freaking out because they can't get the dresses that they already paid for! In Round Rock, Lupita Mendoza's alteration studio, some of the bridal gowns are hanging up, waiting for their happy brides. Apparently she did some alteration work for Alfred Angelo, so even though the company shut down unexpectedly, Lupita had some of the dresses!! Lupita is one of several seamstresses that had been doing work for Alfred Angelo, so some of the dresses are out there. She says the best thing ever is being able to call these women and surprise them by telling them she has their dress...even better, she said she was not paid by Alfred Angelo for the work she's doing, but she is planning to finish all the dresses' alterations for FREE!! According to an interview with KXAN, she says it is all worth it.  “When they take the [finished dress] everybody gave me a hug and ‘thank you, you did a wonderful job and thank you again’… And it was like my extra pay.”
