C'mon Get Happy: Police Buy ALL the Cookies!

This story is CRAZY!!  A 12-year-old Girl Scout and her mom were selling Girl Scout cookies when they were robbed at gunpoint!! Everyone in the community was horrified!! Thankfully, neither was hurt, and local people and police kicked in to cover the amount they had lost in the robbery. Then a local police association heard about what happened, and they bought ALL the cookies the girl had left--they spent something like $1000!!! The girl is happy--and she is delighted to have her cookie money left. The police association members were HAPPY to help and pretty much ate all the cookies the first day!!
