Super Bee Is A Favorite

1968 was a great year for muscle cars. So many cool cars came out that year. But for Plymouth and Dodge, it was a truly awesome year. Both the Roadrunner and the updated Charger ...the "Coke bottle" body was introduced. But along with those, which I have had several of each, Dodge introduced the Super Bee. They took the standard Coronet body, put in a 383 engine( same as the Roadrunner) and had a hit on their hands. Young guys went down to the dealership, bought a car that would fly, and put mags on it and they were instantly the cool kids of the day. One cousin had a Roadrunner but another had a Gold Super Bee. I remember them both well, even though I was 10. Truly badass. So yesterday, I bought a 68 Coronet and am planning to build a Super Bee clone like my cousin had. I drove this one around for a few minutes and remembered his car and simpler (AND BETTER) times when I was young..
