The Real Olympic Champion You Won't Hear About

I have not watched much Olympic coverage this year, or a lot of sports this year for that matter, for one simple reason. I don't need anyone's opinion on politics mixed up with my sports or entertainment. I watch this type of stuff to escape from the day to day grind and to get away from that crap. If you have certain beliefs about this country, that is fine. You are welcome to them. But if I don't agree with some of them and think you have placed too much value on your own self worth, don't be surprised if I choose to change the channel. You want to take a knee during the anthem, so be it. But you lost me as a fan. I won't eat a Subway sandwich for that very reason. I think Rapinoe is probably the most overrated, self centered, sports figure in the world. Now, one that should be promoted is a girl from here in Austin. Valarie Allman won Gold in the discus event. You won't hear about her though because she wrapped herself with the American flag. To quote another overrated person.."How dare you" . This country has a lot of problems. And finding real heroes and leaders is one of them.
