I am a big fan of trains. Big real trains, old locomotives, even model railroads are pretty neat and I would love to build one. I even love the small scale ones like at the park. But over the weekend, I was at my daughter's Baylor Law scholl graduation in Waco. Stayed overnight at a hotel a few blocks from the Chip and Joanna's Silos. At 4:45 AM a train runs thru the middle of town two blocks over from the hotel and this guy lays on the horn for most of the way thru town. For a total of maybe two minutes worth. I don't know why. There can't be that much traffic. If it's people sleeping on the tracks or something, I say let that just take care of itself. Whatever the case, be advised if you travel to Waco and stay anywhere downtown, you will be woke up.
