Tesla Is Hiring Everyone

Tesla is building their biggest factory here in Austin. It's plan is to manufacture their new line on electric trucks here and some other vehicles as well. An interesting article in the Austin Business Journal discusses how this factory will employ 10,000 people. According to the ABJ, this will really deplete the Austin pool of people who have the skills to do this type of work. Other manufactures are having a hard time finding people with skills already and they say many will leave existing companies to work in the electric car sector because it is the future and is also a cool place to work. The Austin Regional Manufactures Assc. has launched a program with ACC to train people who don't have all these skills to learn new Tech. and help them learn a new skill.
