Yo, Pot, It’s Kettle—What’s Up?

I was scrolling through Facebook and saw a post calling someone out for making a mistake. I got all indignant and was going to write a post about the person who wrote the critical post. Then I realized—hey, kettle, it’s me, the pot...being such a hypocrite.
I went to a great Christian boarding school for high school—the Stony Brook School (please don’t hold me against them!). One my oldest, best friends, Nicole, used to bust my hypocrisy back then, too. (Apparently it’s been a lifetime challenge!) She’d quote me the verse about don’t point out the splinter in someone else’s eye when there’s a plank in your own. She would quaintly shorten it to just calling me ‘plank-eye’! That’s a true friend right there. Haha. I think she still does it to this day...
