I’m antsy these days...

My husband, Chris, and I are very excitedly awaiting approval by our homeowners association for an addition to our house. We are adding a deck. It’s not insanely fancy, but it is covered, so we did go through all the HOA guidelines and hired a designer and consulted with the Brushy Creek MUD folks—just to make sure we would not have any issues before we started. Now we are waiting for them to say yes. It has not been that long, but it seems like an eternity! I remember applying to college and to various jobs, running out to the mailbox over and over, or constantly checking my answering machine (because I’m old!) to see if I’d gotten an answer. I know it will come. I just am like a kid on Christmas Eve! Come on, Santa!!!
