Nikki Ihus is a new mom dealing with a challenging situation. Her infant son is battling a condition at a children’s hospital in Florida.
Last week, she called an Uber driver named Belinda to take her to the store to buy some clothes for her son, John Henry.
Belinda could tell that Nikki was having a rough day. So instead of just dropping Nikki off at the store and driving away, Belinda went into the store with Nikki and turned it into a fun shopping spree.
The two women picked 30 pieces of baby clothes for Nikki’s little boy -- and then Belinda paid for them. It was a touching moment -- and even the store employees were amazed.
Nikki and Belinda have kept in touch since. And this week, Belinda returned to the hospital, not as a driver, but as a friend, and met John Henry for the first time.
