C'mon Get Happy: Opposing Coach Gets Huge Support from Rival Team!

In La Verne, California, Bonita High School football coach John Langilotti was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

The whole community was impacted by the news, including members of the rival team – Glendora High.

During a game between the two teams, Glendora’s fans cheered him on, wearing the color purple, which is the color for pancreatic cancer awareness, and displayed posters showing their support.

And at halftime, Tiffany Gomez, a junior soccer player from Glendora High, really won the hearts of all in the stands.

The Chick-Fil-A restaurant chain had been offering free food for a year to anyone who could kick a 30-yard field goal.

Tiffany stepped up – and nailed the kick. And then, immediately donated her prize to Coach John.

Tiffany explained that she thought John could use the prize more than she would. And, John said that act of kindness from a student from the opposing team gives him hope for the future.
