Every night at 8:30 is the Magic Minute at Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island...all the kids in the hospital come to the window with their flashlights. They turn off all the lights in the room and down on the ground near the hospital...and then--MAGIC!! Residents, police, fire, and anyone else who can come, turn on their flashlights, their police and fire lights--and light up the night! They are there to say goodnight to the kids. The kids all flash their lights back at the people down on the ground. It is amazing. The kids say it makes such a difference--letting them know that people care and want to say goodnight!!
