C'mon Get Happy: 100 Yr Old Volunteers for Habitat

Harold Hager was born on May 17, 1917. During his life, Harold served in the navy during World War II.     He spent almost four decades working at Corning Glass Works. Over the years, he volunteered different places. When his wife passed away in 2010, he couldn't just sit around. He joined RSVP, which helps retired senior citizens volunteer for local organizations.  The organization teamed him up with the local Habitat for Humanity.  The Marketing Coordinator says that Harold has been with Habitat for a few years, and volunteers for at least 20 hours per week. Harold does everything from sorting screws to testing light fixtures. He loves volunteering. Harold says he has had a good life, full of accomplishments. His next goal is to make it to 105! This week, he was honored by the RSVP organization for his volunteering! Harold plans to spend the rest of his life just like he has spent the last one hundred years, bettering the lives of those around him.
