An Austin police officer is on a mission to show her strength and determination to people across the country. Officer Katrina Ratcliff has been with APD for about 8 months. She served in the Army, in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Off the streets she’s known as NinjaKat, an aspiring American Ninja Warrior. She said she has been watching the show since it started. Seventy-seven thousand people apply and about 300 of those were chosen. When she served in the Army, she had a bomb-searching dog--that is all they did--look for explosives.
Officer Ratcliff could not say how far she made it on this season of American Ninja Warrior, but you can look for her when the show season starts over on KXAN on June 12.
