A 14-year-old physics major has become the youngest person ever to graduate from Texas Christian University. Carson Huey-You got his Physics degree, with a double minor in Chinese and Mathematics. He started at TCU when he was 11. He says his favorite thing about college was getting to learn things he never thought about--things he never even knew existed--things he did not even know to think of. He said he has also learned to deal with some REALLY hard classes and how to get over the disappointment of a bad grade on a test.
The self-described “normal dude” wants to work on getting graduate degrees in quantum mechanics. He comes from a smart family. Huey-You was 10 when he graduated from the Accommodated Learning Academy in Grapevine, where he was co-valedictorian. His younger brother is about to start at TCU himself--and plans to one-up his brother with a double major!
