C'mon Get Happy in a Ballpark Bathroom!

This is the craziest C'mon Get Happy story we have done. Roy Riegel and Tom McDonald grew up together in Flushing, Queens...they went to PS 70 in Astoria. Roy died about 9 years ago. Tom and Roy were lifelong NY Mets fans, and had gone to Shea Stadium for years. (Roy died before getting to go to Citi Field). Tom, whose nickname is Porky, has been going all over the country visiting baseball parks. He has brought Roy's ashes with him, to spread the ashes at all the parks. At first, when Tom would try to spread or sprinkle the ashes, but there would be wind or hassles from the security guards. One day, while sitting at a bar after a game, Tom was struck with a genius idea! Roy had been a plumber...why not take Roy's ashes with him to ballparks and flush them down the toilet between innings?! So, over the past 9 years Tom has taken Roy's ashes to 16 different ballparks all over the country! He has also taken Roy's ashes to where the ticker tape parade was in 1969 to celebrate the World Series Champion Mets, and to their public elementary school! Such a great story of friendship!!
