An Ohio bus driver made a stop … that ended up saving a woman. Damone Hudson was driving his city bus in downtown Dayton, Ohio, when he saw a woman who was standing on the wrong side of the safety rail on the bridge. He pulled over, and opened the door to talk to the woman. He said, "Ma'am, you look like you're having a bad day, you know. Can I give you a hug?”
Hudson kept talking to the woman, while motioning for a person passing by to call police. He continued to talk to her and console her until police arrived and she came back over the railing.
"I just knew I needed to talk to her," Hudson said. "I wasn't trying to be heroic. I just saw someone that looked like she was definitely in pain or trouble and I just wanted to make a connection. Everyone's going through something. Even if you are, just reach out and try to touch someone, even if it's in a small way," he said.
