In C'mon Get Happy, Chloe Bridgewater, a seven year old, wrote a letter to the head of Google, hoping to get a job. Okay, so she does not really want the job yet--but she is planning ahead. Her dad told her about Google and that the tech giant's offices are the most fun place to work. So, Chloe decided to write the CEO and introduce herself... She wrote, "My name is Chloe and when I am bigger I would like a job at Google. I also want to work at a chocolate factory and do swimming in the Olympics."
She continued, "My dad told me to give you an application to get a job in Google. I don't really know what one of them is but he said a letter will do for now."
Sure enough, her letter found its way to Google CEO Sundar Pichai who responded in a letter. He wrote, "I'm glad that you like computers and robots, and hope that you will continue to learn about technology. I look forward to receiving your job application when you're finished with school!"
Chloe's dad Andy says that since receiving the letter from Google, Chloe's is "now even more eager to do well at school and work for Google."
