If you know Bert Kreischer's comedy--you know he is a cool guy--and is known for performing shirtless at all his gigs. Apparently he is becoming known for something else, too. Bert gets audience members to donate money to one lucky member of the waitstaff. His nickname is "The Machine" and in Lexington, Kentucky, he became a money machine. As he does at every one of his shows, he passes the hat and asks audience members to throw a couple dollars in. At the end of the show, one of the waitstaff gets all the money. Bert takes the names of all the waitstaff, and puts them into a hat for a drawing for all the cash. In Lexington, the waiter whose name was drawn got very emotional when he found out he'd won the money. When Bert asked why, he said he was "just a single dad, working hard, and his daughter's birthday was coming up." Well, that made the audience ROAR with approval--and then they all collected more cash for the lucky single dad! SO sweet!! Check him out at www.bertbertbert.com
