The Williamson County Sheriff's office did something special and amazing for Clayton Dalton. He lives here in our area--he is 16 years old, and is at Dell Children's Medical Center, fighting cancer. He has been diagnosed with a very rare cancer that attacks the soft-tissues. He is a great kid, who always planned to go into law enforcement. The WILCO Sheriff says he met Clayton when he was running for office--and the two struck up a friendship. When the sheriff heard about Clayton's condition (which was just diagnosed in the past two weeks), he wanted to do anything he could to support and encourage Clayton. So, fourteen members of the WILCO SWAT team came to the Dell Children's Medical Center to see him. Two rappelled down the side of the building--so not only Clayton could be thrilled, but all the other kids who are there could also get a treat. The guys came in and gave Clayton a signed helmet along with several patches to match his new deputy uniform shirt. The family says it meant the world to Clayton!
