Devlin “Duck” Hodges shared heartfelt tributes to his girlfriend, reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year Lainey Wilson, on his Instagram story on Monday evening (December 16).

The former football quarterback, 28, shared two photos that appeared in one of Wilson’s recent posts on Instagram. The “4x4xU” singer-songwriter, 32, offered a glimpse of her 48 hours in Las Vegas, including her last show of 2024, singing with Cody Johnson and attending the National Finals Rodeo. Hodges shared one of Wilson’s photos, capturing the couple standing closely together near a stage. Hodges wrote, “last rodeo for the year. Proud of you. Love you.” On the next slide, Hodges shared a cozy photo with Wilson and said, “she deserves all the sleep she can get over the next 2 months.”

Wilson had a “whirlwind” year, including scoring her first Grammy Award, opening her bar in Nashville, performing shows around the world, returning to Yellowstone for the season 5B finale, and releasing her highly-anticipated new album, among other milestones. Whirlwind arrived in August, following 2022’s Bell Bottom Country. The 14-track record included “Country’s Cool Again,” “Good Horses” with Miranda Lambert, “Whirlwind,” “Hang Tight Honey,” “4x4xU” and more. Wilson said in an interview with PEOPLE last year that she “was never really able to write love songs, because I don't know if I had actually felt it, but I'm writing me some love songs now. I’m grateful for him.”
