Governor Pete Ricketts is sending 25 Nebraska State Patrol troopers to Texas. The governor made the announcement Saturday, stating that he is responding to a request for help at the border from the Lone Star State. Ricketts said Nebraska is stepping up to respond to the ongoing crisis, and blamed the Biden Administration for the recent surge in migrants. The troopers will be stationed in Del Rio for about two weeks.
