Paxton Sues Biden Admin For Failing To Take Custody Of Criminal Immigrants

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is suing the Biden administration for refusing to take custody of criminal illegal immigrants despite federal law requiring it to do so. At least three-dozen Bexar County Jail inmates had to be released even though they had an ICE detainer, which means they were to be released directly to ICE custody. But ICE lifted the detainers, releasing the inmates into the community instead of deporting them. Named as defendants in the suit are the Department of Homeland Security, the Border Patrol, and ICE.
