AAA: State Ties Longest Period Of Gas Prices Below $2 Since 2005

AAA Texas says today ties the longest stretch of consecutive days the statewide average gas price has been below two-dollars a gallon since it first reached that price in 2005. The average gas price in Texas has been below two-bucks since mid-March, and as of today, that stretch ties the record set in 2016. The AAA Texas Weekend Gas Watch says the statewide average in Texas is a $1.87 for a gallon of regular unleaded fuel.
