Thomas Rhett Fires Back At Trolls Mocking Wife's CMT Music Awards Outfit

Thomas Rhett isn't here for your negativity!

The "Marry Me" singer was not about to let hate toward his wife Lauren go unnoticed.

The pair showed up looking amazing to the CMT Music Awards last night (June 5) and the country crooner brought down the house when he opened the show with Little Big Town to perform their single, "Don't Threaten Me With A Good Time."

After the show, he decided to upload an adorable photo of himself and his wife to Instagram. The singer wore a maroon suit and a white button-down paired with black loafers while she rocked a bright pink tank top, a super-fun leopard skirt, and pink heels. Unfortunately though, rude commenters had a lot to say about Lauren's cute outfit.

The hate got so bad that he ended up disabling comments on his post. But they didn't stop.

Instead, trolls decided to flood the comment section under People's post of the country couple. One commenter said, "Seriously....I see she has no stylist to help her out." Another wrote, "What is she wearing, is it 1980 again."

That's when he took matters into his own hands again and replied to all the hate. He wrote: "All of you with these hateful comments should be ashamed. This world doesn’t need more of your negativity."

Luckily, the parents of two were showered with hundreds of positive comments complimenting her look. One commenter said it best, "Ladies we make each other look bad from comments like this when we should lift each other up. Shame on you. Lauren is beautiful inside and out. If you took the time to read about her mission trips and her care for children in Haiti you may rethink your comments. She looks beautiful." We couldn't agree more!
