Stop by with the whole family to donate and enjoy tacos, coffee, prizes, and more while you keep Central Texans Cool!
This is a family event with a Free Kid Zone: face painting, hair chalk, photo booth, stem zone & gaming station, live entertainment, bounce house, and more!
About the Summer Fan Drive:
- Heat is #1 killer in weather-related deaths, especially among seniors
- Fan drive is the solution because:
- Fans save lives by lowering core body temp by 8 degrees
- 75% of people seeking fans can't afford to pay for A/C
- Fans are cheap and only cost about 10 cents per day to run
- Fan drive reaches people living below poverty and opens the door for us to provide other resources
- 2019 Goal is 7,500 Fans
- The Fans distributed will provide about 12,000 people across 14 counties with heat relief
- We support 14 counties and work with 35 distribution partners to reach Central Texans in need
