Boar's Head & Yule Log Festival

Christmas in the Coastal Bend community doesn’t end on December 25th! A traditional end to the Christmas season in the Coastal Bend, the Boar’s Head and Yule Log Festival and pageant celebrates the story of Christmas through music, song, and dance with 180 costumed characters in the setting of a medieval English manor house. The festival originated in Oxford, England in 1340. It is not just a tale of tunes and times past. It is a living story that still shines forth in our world today. Admission is free but donations of non-perishable food items are accepted on behalf of the Food Bank of Corpus Christi. Three Performances: Sat, Jan 7, 2023 at 3:00, 5:00 and 7:00 pm at First Christian Church, 3401 Santa Fe. This year’s festival will be the 39th year that this renaissance-style recreation has been held in Corpus Christi.
