I am so blessed to know Ray McDonald. Ray was a very good friend of Merle Haggard and he has told me tons of stories. A few years ago, Ray finally collected his stories and sat down to write a book called "Merle Haggard Was A Friend of Mine." Great book and great stories......but now Ray tells us a few stories that didn't make in the book. If you are a Haggard fan, you need to listen.
