Did you know Dolly Parton gives away books to preschoolers every month? She does--and she gave away her one hundred millionth book last year!! She started doing it back in 1995, in her little corner of Tennessee. It has grown to a huge organization that mails new books to preschoolers every month! Dolly's dad did not know how to read.
