Apple's new mobile device update is making some people sick.

The animations and zooming with the iOS 7 operating system in iPhones and iPads are reportedly causing vertigo and motion sickness for some.

People posting messages on Apple discussion boards are also complaining that the fake 3D effects are making them nauseous and giving them headaches.

There is a workaround - in the accessibility settings you can check "reduce motion" but that doesn't stop all the animations.

Apple hasn't responded yet but some app makers are giving users the option to stop the zooming around when using their individual apps.
