Listen to Lady Antebellum on iHeartRadio

Lady Antebellum is getting a new honor.  The country trio has been tapped to receive the Recording Artists' Coalition Award at next month's Grammys on the Hill event.

The Recording Academy's Neil Portnow says they're "proud to honor Lady Antebellum for their artistry and inventiveness in the country arena," and for the group's charitable efforts through their LadyAID Fund to "make a difference for disadvantaged children here and abroad."

Other honorees include the House of Representatives Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy and House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, whom Portnow says are being recognized for their "tireless support of music."

The gala will include a cocktail reception and dinner along with the award presentations.  Dionne Warwick, Los Lonely Boys, Hanson, and the Lumineers' Wesley Schultz are among the music stars expected to attend.

The 2014 Grammys on the Hill Awards will take place at the Hamilton Live in Washington, DC on April 2nd.
